Love it. - This is my second pillow. Bought the original one to see if it would help alleviate neck pain. It did. So a few years later I bought this as a refreshing replacement. This one is as full as a standard pillow. Yes it makes a shushing noise when you move. I don't have an issue with this. I will definitely be back to buy another one when this one needs replacing. Great pillow for neck issues - I do think this pillow has helped with the neck pain and related migraines I've been experiencing (from computer use). I've been trying lots of things! I find it comfortable and soothing; I might go to bed with discomfort but now wake up feeling better in the morning. I had tried bamboo with memory foam but found my head was tilted upwards. This buckwheat pillow helps as you can mould it to your head and easily get the right height - whether on back or side - while filling the gap under your neck so you feel well-supported. Purple buckwheat pillow - I knew what I wanted as I've had one before but left by mistake at daughters. I don't want any other type of pillow as these can be moulded to your head and neck and stop neck pain as they stay put, as I turn in the night I just put my hand above my head and remodel the pillow. A great alternative to a traditional pillow - To be honest I think choosing a pillow is a very personal choice, one size definitely doesn’t fit all. However, I found this pillow suits me perfectly- I like the fact I can make the middle almost flat but I have support either side. I always slept on the edge of a regular pillow as I didn’t like my face being muffled by too much ‘fluff’.
I can move the contents in the buckwheat pillow so I have a ‘hole’ for my ear piecing too. I thought it might be noisy, I’m a very light sleeper but it that hasn’t been an issue at all. The pillow wedges me in place so I toss and turn less.

Love this pillow - I got this pillow after watching on line a video recommending using a buckwheat sleep pillow for sleeping and positioning my head properly. I chose to have the lavender scented pillows as I love using lavender. Very pleased with my pillow. Personally I am sleeping better and in a good position to help my back and arm pain. buckwheat sleep pillow - i have taken a while to add this review as i really wanted to try it out properly. I have found it a helpful aid. i have found that i can put a regular pillow on it for softness, or when my neck is really sore i can use the buckwheat pillow directly and shape it around my neck. It does take a bit of getting used to, and the sound of the wheat is new but not unpleasant and i got used to it very quickly. I would recommend this. (Jane, 02/06/21)
Great night's sleep with this - Not sure how well this would work, but it's a great aid to a night's sleep. The filling makes the pillow solid but willl still mould to your head. And the extra weight means you won't throw it out of bed in the night, I wake up with my head still on the pillow which never happened with lighter ones. Sleep Apnea - I was newly diagnosed with sleep apnea and had to wear a CPAP mask to sleep. I like to sleep on my side but that made my mask "leak" air. I read somewhere on a forum about a buckwheat pillow and hey presto I can sleep on my side with No Air leaks!

Excellent support for babies when being massaged! - These pillows were exactly what I was looking and made to a very high quality. In my classes smaller babies can be placed on the pillow whilst parents massage them and these naturally filled pillows have been very comfortable in supporting a babies body whilst moveable for their freedom. Fave new pillow - So happy with this find. I purchased this after seeing a recommendation for buckwheat pillows on a forum discussion about sleep quality. Fantastic customer service - There has been a bit of cock-up with my ordered gift due to delivery issues. Good after some perseverance - I ordered the standard filled pillow with lavender and organic cotton removable cover. If I'd known then what I know now, I'd have ordered the deep filled one with lavender and wouldn't have paid extra for the organic cotton. The lavender is a wonderful addition and the pillow smells great, so that is a definite plus, but I found the standard filling wasn't enough and I had to buy extra buckwheat from another supplier (Wheatybags don't sell extra buckwheat). The pillow cover is, in my opinion, completely unnecessary since you can just use the sort of ordinary pillowcase or pillow protector you'd use on any other pillow (it's also made of a very stiff material which doesn't have as much flexibility as an ordinary pillowcase). It's really good that the pillow has a zip and so can easily be topped up or have buckwheat taken out, but it would be helpful if there was more information on the website about what the standard filling consists of, because I was very surprised by how flat it was. My first couple of nights sleeping on it (before topping it up) were not good, and it's taken me more than a week of trial and error with adding and removing extra buckwheat to find the right amount of filling for me. I'm still getting used to it, but I am sleeping better now and the neck and shoulder pain I'd been suffering with for months is certainly improving. After reading rave reviews about how the pillow had cured other people's pain almost instantly I was a bit disappointed that it didn't work so quickly for me, but perseverance does seem to be paying off. My advice for anyone buying one of these pillows is to include the lavender and if you're unsure about the filling, buy the deep filled version. On the whole I'm pleased with my purchase and glad I bought it, but I've only given it 4 stars because of the amount of filling. (Lorna, 08/02/21)

King size pillow - Arrived very quickly. Love buckwheat pillows and so glad I found somewhere that did larger sizes. Thought I might have to decant some of the buckwheat as I like a thin pillow but have got used to it. Best thing is no transfer of heat at night and stays cool can't wait for the summer! Holy grail of pillows - I have been searching for the perfect pillow for years and years and have spent a vast amount of money on various memory foam,feather and just about anything else ever made.i loke a pillow that is quite firm and also quite high as im a side sleeper.i happend to come by a review of these buckwheat pillows and after reading lots of other reviews i went and ordered one.when it arrived and i felt it i must admit a was a bit wary as its unlike any other pillow I’ve ever used.well have had the best sleep I’ve had in years.although I ordered the ‘extra filled’ one,it was still just a little bit too flat so ordered some extra buckwheat and oh my good,its my holy grail of pillows.the rustling is a little bit strange to begin with but after a couple of days you don’t notice it.i now wake up with no sore neck or back and its so so supportive.bought my other half one as well and he’s now a convert as well.... just fab if you like firm supportive pillows that you can ‘form’ yourself...A+++ from me (Miss M, 22/10/20)

Great Regular Pillows - These pillows are just what I wanted. Really good quality. Having the quality of sleep I wanted - use my old 25 yr old buckwheat pillow as a standby. Fabulous value. I recommend to anyone who wants a good value high quality buckwheat pillow to purchase these. The great thing is it is easy to adjust the volume of buckwheat to your preference. I took out about 15-20% so that I had a deeper 'natural' dip for supporting my neck.

The best pillow thus far - Recovereing from recently broken ribs, I had some jip with my old boingy mattress so replaced it with a memory foam mattress. This proved a little too firm, for my liking and the huge variety of pillows I tried, all gave me an aching neck - hard memory foam, soft memory foam, fibre-filled or feathers, all had issues. So I decided to try a buckwheat pillow and I have to say it is great. It is not too high, creates a supported dip for your head, like a bean bag but doesn't get hot or wrap round your head. Some people complain about noise but I can't say it's noisy at all, more like the soft crunch of your foot on fresh snow. Could possibly use a little more filling (though that is an option). Been searching for a supplier for YEARS. This is it! - We have very old and tatty buckwheat pillows, and have tried for years to replace them with something of equivalent quality. These pillows are, finally, an answer! They are very well made, well filled, and, with the zips, adjustable/washable. Everything is good, and I'd buy them again in a shot. (Sarah)
Have just ordered my fifth.... not all for me. - I borrowed my original pillow from my dad, just to try it out. Liked it so ordered a new one to give it back to him. My friend asked to try it and she liked it so ordered another new one. My sister now wants one as well as another friend with a bad neck. Shame I am not on commission.
The pillow is wonderful, I have short neck and therefore need low profile pillow, as you can adjust the filling this is easily achieved.

DO NOT HEAT THIS PRODUCT IN THE MICROWAVE. This Buckwheat Pillow is NOT intended to be used hot or heated in the microwave. Buckwheat Pillows are a pillow for comfort and rest whether in a chair, the bed or floor.
Do Not Machine Wash
We suggest that you do not machine wash this product or get it soaking wet. If it becomes marked or dirty, please wipe clean with a damp cloth.
If you do inadvertently machine wash the item, it won't come to any harm but will more than likely distort in shape and take ages to dry.
Removable Covers: If you purchase this Product with the "Removable Cover" for cleaning, the outer removable cover will be supplied in the fabric and colour of your choice. The inner pack will be manufactured from a fabric and colour of our choice depending on supplies available at the time of manufacture (usually our natural value cotton fabric depending on the product).
Do not wash or get the inner buckwheat or other filled products wet.

FAQs
How do Buckwheat Pillows feel when trying to sleep?
Buckwheat filled pillows have a very firm feel though certainly not hard; the hulls inside move about just like a fibre filled pillow would and mold to shape as your head nestles into the pillow. People have said they are similar to microbeads in the way they move about when settling into the pillow as they are moldable to the shape of your head though the buckwheat used is not soft and squishy like a traditional fibre filled pillow.
Buckwheat pillows are definitely for people that need firm support and are definitely worth a try if you have never had one before and they are totally organic and natural.
Can Buckwheat Filled Products be heated in the microwave?
No. Buckwheat products are intended for sleep and rest only and must never be heated or cooled.
Is the Buckwheat used Organic?
No. We use "Low Impact Crops" of Buckwheat to help balance the extraordinarily high cost that truly organic Buckwheat would add to the products by using a Low Impact Grown Crop of Buckwheat. Low Impact means the crop is not sprayed with any pesticides and therefore helps reduce costs but maintain the ethics of the buckwheat we use.
What are buckwheat hulls used?
Buckwheat Hulls are the outer husk of the all-natural buckwheat plants. Buckwheat isn't actually wheat at all but a fruit and the husk is the outer parts of the hull that protects the wheat inside.
Can this product be washed?
Please refer to the "Instructions" tab for detailed information on cleaning this product and any care label sewn into the product itself.
Is the Lavender Organic?
Yes. We purchase Organic Lavender from our Grain & Seed Merchant in the UK and they have sourced genuine lavender buds for our heat packs. This is not a scent, we add the flower buds from Organic Lavender for the most exquisite fragrance.
What are the Organic Fabric Options?
Where shown, this product has an Organic Fabric Option. We purchase organic fabric from trusted UK Fabric Merchants who are registered under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) to enable full traceability of the fabric we use through to the final product you are purchasing today.
